Master HireVue Interviews
The most effective strategy for passing Video Interviews -
the stage where most get rejected
Hey, I'm Christos
Not too long ago, I was in your shoes - struggling with HireVue interviews:
Over dozens of applications, I built a battle-tested system - and it's all packed into this course.
You'll get a structured, proven approach that takes the guesswork out of video interviews, and lays the foundation to succeed far beyond HireVues - helping you stand out in assessment centres, final rounds, and beyond.
This isn't just a quick fix. It's a long-term advantage for every interview you'll face.
Most Applicants Experience This...
1. Difficult Questions
'I never know how to prepare solid responses for the questions that come up.'
2. Time Pressure During Recording
'The countdown timer makes me freeze up, and I struggle to fit my ideas into such a short window.'
3. Unnatural Feeling - No Human Connection
'It feels awkward staring into a webcam instead of having a normal conversation with an interviewer.'
4. Rejected Without Knowing Why
'It's impossible to improve when I don’t know if it’s my answers, delivery, or even technical glitches that cost me the role.'
5. Nervousness on Camera
'The thought of being recorded makes me overthink everything, and I come across as less confident than I am.'
With the right game plan, you can succeed
This course was designed to help you dominate the video interview and turn this from being the worst part of application season, to something that you feel confident you'll smash.

People that have previously benefitted
The guidance and resources provided by InternGamePlan were instrumental in helping me prepare effectively for the pre-application stage of both my spring and summer internship applications.
Thanks to the structured approach, I successfully secured internships at the Royal Bank of Canada and J.P. Morgan.
InternGamePlan’s methodology helped me prepare efficiently for both the HireVues and the assessment centers, covering both motivational and technical aspects.

Investment Banking Analyst
The guidance from InternGamePlan and Christos were instrumental in helping me navigate through 3 years worth of applications.
The sections on HireVues and first round interviews were particularly useful in helping me craft compelling and creative interview responses, something I had been particularly struggling with.
Ultimately, InternGamePlan helped me gain a significant competitive edge, allowing me to pass my first ever AC and land an offer. Would highly recommended.
Rohit
Summer Analyst
Christos gave me incredibly useful advice when I was applying to internships - clear, honest, and to the point.
I would definitely recommend his course.

Motivational Questions
The first part of the course covers the essential questions which are bound to come up again and again, often making the first impression. Questions covered include:
Introduce Yourself: I walk through a framework to help create your own response for this question that helps paint the unique picture of who you are.
Why Role: Sharing how you can craft an authentic response for why you were drawn to the role, focusing on specific life experiences and a narrative structure to keep the interviewer engaged. I specifically talk about ‘Why Investment Banking’ as an example, but it can transfer across roles.
Why Firm: I talk about the gold card answer for this question which is ‘the people’ and how you can network to talk to people working there. I also go through how you can complement ‘the people’ with research on the firm to bolster this answer.
Why You: At heart, this is a question on ‘what are your main strengths and how do they resonate with the role’. You’ll need to have the application pdf saved to tailor your answer to the characteristics and skills highlighted by the firm in question.
Commercial Awareness
Tell Me About a Deal: A question specifically asked in Investment Banking interviews, this was the first ever question I used a framework for when applying and it works like a charm. Cut time in half when researching for this question using the method I demonstrate.
Commercial Awareness (Themes): Most applicants struggle with commercial awareness, especially since the most common advice is ‘read the FT’. That’s not actionable enough and it requires way too much work since what you actually need is a portfolio of trends that you’ve established by leveraging e.g. consulting reports available online and that you’re adding to by taking advantage of newsletters and podcasts, where the information is summarised in a digestible format. I also walk through how you can set up that repertoire of trends, which ones are mandatory trends e.g. the economy and ESG themes.
Competencies
Competency Grid: Competencies, also known as ‘behavioural questions’, focus on where you’ve previously demonstrated certain characteristics ideally with a previous example. They are a core part of any HireVue and strongly overflow into the face-to-face and assessment centre interviews. The crown jewel of this question type is the competency grid, which is a useful way of organising your responses. That’s exactly what I walk through in this section, covering all the question examples below, pre-prepared in the Notion Database you would be getting access to.
I provide an example and guidance for the questions below within each row of the Notion database. The beauty of this question category is that you’ve prepared examples from your experiences answering these questions, it will carry you through all future interviews - I.e. it’s more a fixed cost that keeps paying future dividends once set up correctly. All these questions have appeared from previous finance HireVues:
Time you worked in a team
Time you worked with others to achieve a goal
Time you saw something wrong in a team
Time you dealt with a bad teammate
